Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) India is an educational initiative focused on mental health training, promotion, and research. MHFA programs aim to help our communities in improving mental health literacy, reduce stigma and motivate early professional help seeking.

STANDARD MHFA TRAINING

A globally recognized and evidence based program, Standard MHFA course teaches mental health first aid strategies to members of the public to understand, identify and respond to developing mental health problems and mental health crisis situations.

On successful completion of the training, you will be having good understanding of a cluster of mental illnesses, equipped to recognize early signs and symptoms and be skilled enough to approach and support the one in need.
The training will give you good knowledge to better manage your mental health.
You will be part of 2.7 million MHFAiders across the world.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion on successfully participating in the training.
Post completion of the training, you will be eligible to receive the Certificate of Accreditation by MHFA India through an online test.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
Instructors' Training is a five days standardized training that equips you with capacities to initiate and administer a Standard Mental Health First Aid Course in your communities.

The Instructor program can be taken up by anyone who aspire to bring a change in the mental health of their community. However, to maintain the International standards and quality of the MHFA delivery, they have some selection criteria for Individuals who want to become accredited Instructors.
